Deadmau5 was at the VMA's tonight - not in a seat but in his own "cube" where he was able to play his music for everyone in attendance. This made me so HAPPY! I love Deadmau5 (pronounced Dead Mouse for those of you staring at the 5 really confused). He is so unique and his mouse head costume that he wears during every performance cracks me up. Deadmau5 is a progressive and electro house producer from Canada and many people have probably heard one of his most popular songs.. Moar Ghosts n Stuff because MTV has played it a number times during commercials. Give that song about 30 seconds before you plan on recognizing it! And if you're ever in a bad mood, just play this song. You seriously can't stay in a bad mood while listening to it.
The way Deadmau5 creates music is really interesting and he definitely has some of the most high-tech stuff out there for creating it. Click here to find out how Deadmau5 makes his music. This video is really cool. AND if anyone's wondering why he calls himself Deadmau5.. apparently he found a dead mouse in his computer one day a long time ago. Then a bunch of people starting calling him the dead mouse guy, so he shortened it to Dead mouse, then Deadmau5. Yeah...not the coolest of all stories, but it's a fact! I think it works pretty well for him now. :)

Below is a phone pic that I snatched from Twitter one day.
Deadmau5 tweeted something along the lines of,
"Yeah...I did this." Haha love it!
Deadmau5 will be performing in Atlanta, GA on October 1st if anyone is interested!!! Only a 5 hour-ish drive from Raleigh, let's go!
